Re: What would you do if your girlfriend had a rukka raincoat?
A very interesting question. My girlfriend's or wife never owned a Rukka but I wished she had have done particularly the one in the start or this stream which looks to be fabulous. I guess I would compliment her choice of rainwear and say I loved her wearing it. Needless to say I would enjoy her ...

Re: Helping me my sbr mackintosh in public
I bought a black SBR mackintosh years ago but I was too scared to go out it. Last year I decided to take the plunge and wear it in public. Since then I've worn it on many occasions and no one takes any notice. My advice is to wear it .

Re: Weather Or Not Raincoats
I have three Weather Or Not Mackintosh's. One lightweight, one medium rubber and one single texture with a rubber lining.
I understand they retired 20 years ago.
I went to there house in Market Drayton where they produced the Mack's.

Amount of views but hardly a reply
Has anyone noticed that the amount of views verses the amount is of replies is staggering. Surely there are plenty of people that would like to meet people from that area or have a chat but are too afraid to answer,it's baffling to me,what do others think.

Re: Before the Internet
In the 60's I used to get a magazine called "Exchange and Mart" which contained adverts for numerous products including rainwear , it also used to contain "personal adds" that was essentially a contact mag. Next come Relate magazine and I was a confirmed Mac and rubber wearer to this day.

Re: Rainwear in public
My wife and I went to a local Wetherspoons for lunch and as it was raining and a bit blowy I decided to wear my SBR trench coat. As we approached the door a chap opened it for us and he said "I was just admiring your coat"
It gave me the confidence to were it more often in future.

Re: What (general ) area are you from?
I'm from Cheshire, the only one from Cheshire so it seems. I would love to chat with other rainwear enthusiast but it appears that either no one wants to chat or that they are embarrassed about wearing rainwear. True, I'm 70 now so I couldn't give a dam what I wear or talk about but I find it hard ...

Re: Cheap Hunter wellies
I would be very wary of this website. It was only registered within the past day and when you read "Shipping & Returns" there are obvious mistakes which makes me think it's a bogus website.
