Damaged Raincoat

Please could any one help?

I have a black PVC-U-Like full length hooded raincoat because it was getting messy quite a lot I washed in the bath in just plain water. When the coat dried it has now got watermarks all over and looks awful. Does anyone have any ideas on how to bring it back to life

presumably it was the dirty water which has left its mark, wash it again with some not too abrasive detergent and rinse off under the shower, hang to dry outside in the open air and fingers crossed

You can buy demineralised (destilled) water to rinse after washing. If rinsed properly there will be no water marks.
