slept in my raincoat again.

Post by raincoatboy »

I went to sleep with my pul trench raincoat on. Just woke up and every square inch of it fused to my body. My god what a feeling. I don't want to get up. It feels even better when I wear my pul bedboots.

I did the same except wearing my two piece frosty clear rain suit. Sure keeps you warm on a cold night.

hi, I always sleep dressed up in multiple layers of Nylon windbreaker and Nylon windpants since they keep me warm all night cause I keep the window tilted open. I started testing this at a campsite during my time as scout.
I also prefer to be in Nylon wind suit when sitting at a campfire / bonfire.

Tell me about it. The one piece rainsuit I won already has a small split next to the velcro enclosure. I slept in the rainsuit and made the little tear trying to peel apart the velcro. I was so pissed.

Thats why I never sleep in my raincoats, unless they are extremely roomy ... they rip like f**k in the armpit area.

Plastic ponchos are much better

:( Yeah, you've got to open the velcro carefully when you rise and shine. If it comes to it I can provide you another similar rain suit. You can also get some clear vinyl repair and tape and reinforce the area if the tear is not too large.

Tell me about it Mason. I have 2 PUL raincoats with a tear in the armpit. And I have a blackone with a long tear in the sleve. That one was my fault. I was wiping the powder off and I tried flipping it over to do the otherside. I flipped it a little too high and the ceiling fan ripped it right outa my hands. I'm always using my raincoats as a bedcover so maybe I should look into a poncho. There's some hot looking ones out there. Kulshan, the tear is the length of the velcro strip. I can try and repair it. You said you can provide me with a similar rainsuit. I'd like to take you up on that offer when I can afford it. Just started a new job so I'm home everynight inside of being on the road for 3 weeks.
