Not much activity

Post by pvc_pete »

Hi

Is it just me or does anyone else think this site has been a lot quieter post wise over the last 3 months (with the exception of the spammers).

I tend to log in every day and click on the view new posts link and i would say half the time now there is nothing. Even when there is, it is often just a quick reply to a older post rather than anything new.

Any thoughts on this? I have my own theories on this.

Hi Pete, it does seem that way but a number of other forums I look at (but dont contribute to, so it can't be me, lol) are also very very quiet

Maybe people just dont have the time to spare on their passions at the moment

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts too

I agree with Ray
Though I did manage to go out last night with the video camera for a while.

Hi Pete,

I have noticed this as well, but also have been busy so not been able to contribute much lately. I have been trying to write another story, but as far as I have got so far with it is "New Story" heading in my computer.......LOL. Hopefully something will spark an idea in my grey matter and it will come blurting out.

Well, it is the holiday season so maybe people are preoccupied. Having said that what is special about this period? Does anyone have ideas on what "Saint Nick" should put under their Christmas tree? We can get creative with some ideas! For me a nice two piece clear pvc rain suit would fill the bill.

Well here's what I got for my wife this year. Been wanting this coat for quite a while but the price tag was somewhat daunting ($325 USD for a polyurethane coated polyester slicker? No thank you). So I did something that might have been a tad shady or unethical. Another American retailer, Lord & Taylor, had the coat on sale for $150 USD (still a bit pricey but much easier for me to swallow), but they only had it in black. So I ordered it, then ordered a yellow one from Nordstrom, wrapped the yellow one & sent the black one back to Nordstrom in their packaging (with free shipping both ways to boot). It was well worth it, the yellow coat looks extremely sexy (click on the video of the model showing it off as it flows like liquid on her body) and I can't wait to see my wife try it on! http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/jane-post-p ... wordsearch

Not much activity, if you censor postings like in this thread I'm not surprised.
