The first day of 2014 is a very good day: windy and rainy . It was not too cold so I had the possibility to make a long walk only wearing PVC and Latex. It was heaven. I heard the rain beating the hood . I spent 1 hour walking into the town under the rain.
A very good start for 2014.

After a hectic New Years Eve it was good to have a lie in yesterday morning but as it was pouring down ,we decided to blow the cobwebs away with a long walk.
I was suitably attired in my black hooded rubberlined satin mac and black wellies and my other half wore his SBR mac , sou'wester and wellies. After two pleasurable hours walking in the wind and rain we enjoyed a couple of drinks in a village pub in the company of several other mackintosh clad folks who had the same idea. This was a wonderful start to the New Year,particularly as we made some new like minded friends with whom we arranged to meet up again.

Hi all,
for my yesterday evening walk I only wore PVC and or latex:
a latex bermuda , a shiny black pvc sweating jogging , black pvc chaps, black pvc rainjacket and a black noisy regatta trousers with my Aigle pvc rubber boots and my long black see trou pvc u like raincoat. I firmly attached the hood, and put my black rubber gloves.
During one hour the song of the drops beating on the hood was incredible with the song of the regatta trousers and the matching sound of the boot.
Unfortunately no rain for this evening only for the coming night
