What about this coat?

Post by Ian W »

Have been thinking about buying this coat to use on future model shoots - but it is quite expensive.

Want to shoot something different and it looks quite sexy on the model on the Adidas page

Any thoughts or views.

Maybe if it was in black?
£110 is a wee bit expensive.
I think you could get away with it though?

Those were my two concerns, but I wanted to get away from always shooting black or red, and every other pvc coat I have looked is either fairly regulation or way more expensive (like the amazing Burberry stuff that I need to win the lottery to afford!)

I am still quite keen on it as I think it will appeal to models as it will seem more fashion than fetish and more stylish than 'bin bag' as far as non-fetish models that I use are concerned.

I suppose what I am asking is whether this has appeal for dedicated rainwear enthusiasts or not.

the Jeremy Scott design again, him of the rather odd footprint raincoat. At least this design seems more wearable. As for appeal, to me none but then as I am gay it wouldnt have unless the model was male which is hardly going to happen.

About a year and a half ago these raincoats were everywhere and priced between $50 and $125 US$. I bought one. Well made raincoat and very crinkley with the material used. Not sure of the applicaton. Have not worn it out as a regular habit.

Can you let me know if they are shiny?

And are they a bit transparent?

Thanks,

Ian
