Hi,

These are a ridiculous price, but in the same way as lots of women and girls now wear wellie boots, even if it's not wet or raining, maybe this will encourage wearing rainwear for fashion reasons. Will be interesting to see if any Hunter stockists, have these available.

I had a quick look at those.
They look ok but we shall see!
The do not go to any larger than an xl which is no good really.
Rainmac.com they have shiny coats in a long length and half the price.

I agree with the fact that Rainmac (and pvc-u-like) have a much better choice and at a more sensible price, but not the name or the reach. Anything that appeals to a younger more fashion conscious audience has got to be good, as it is likely to get more retailers stocking coats in pvc and plastic.

Size wise XL or a 16-18 is as big as you are going to get on the high street normally and that is definitely not going to change

Dont disagree with that, look at the number of Quilted Barbour jackets you see on the high street these days, it only takes them to be the next in thing and they could be everywhere

Maybe it's the government's way of making us eat fewer pies, cakes, sugery fizzy drinks and other crap. If we have to squeeze into clothes that are too small for us, we'll have to slim down!!!

Maybe or the companies do not cater for real guys and girls!
Then charge "The Fashionistas" the earth to be trendy!
And make a massive profit on imported items!

It is interesting though that 30 or 40 years ago when pvc was last massively in fashion, we all fitted in the sizes that were sold then (size 6,8,10,12,14,16).

It's got to be an indictment on modern life that we no longer fit these and suffer from diabetes, joint problems etc.

Yes I agree to that I think we were young and fairly carefree though
Or this is just a thought
The clothes sizes during manufacture have got smaller and we have stayed the same lol lol!

Too much fast food and no exercise!
