Hi,
I'm a newbie on Rainwear Central but I stumbled across this site while browsing for a particular item of clothing which I'd seen someone wearing on Flickr so I thought I'd ask the question here. A link to one of the photos (of a series) is

It looks like a full length rubberised (I think) satin hooded cape. I've never seen one before but I was rather taken with it.
Does anyone know where I might find one?

Yes, try Weathervain or Hamilton Classics Rainwear.

Thanks for the reply.
I'd previously messaged the gentleman on Flickr who has since replied. He did get his from Weathervain so that's answered my question I suppose.
On a different note, having delved into capes and cloaks and "Groups" on the internet for a couple of hours, I didn't realise there was such a following and how many seriously hot styles are available.
I think I've found a new interest! Justifying it to my fiancee is a different matter!!!

Ask her to wear either a satin/rubber cape or mac and see what she says?
Tell her how good she would look wearing one! Use Flattery!

The fly in the ointment is that I already have a latex cape from Sealwear so it might be difficult to justify a slightly different (and more expensive) one in addition.
Still, I think you're right; she's never worn my cape and I would love to see her in it (the flattery!). You can't describe the sensation until you actually wear one so I may win her over once she tries it; then of course I'd have no choice but to get another one!!!
Easy!
Mmmm..... I don't know about that but fun trying.

Yes get her a nice red one?
if not a cheaper nylon one.

That way not a lot of expense if she does not like it!

Good idea from Spitfire617 but note that the cape is not rubberized and is not in satin.
My wife has 3 satin, rubberized mackintoshes (none of them are capes) and loves them because "they keep her nice and warm." Her words not mine.
Now she does not share my fetish but you take what you can and enjoy it.
Good luck but I'd be careful about garments made from pure latex as they will tear fairly easily.
