My recent observations from the past full year on items of interest:
PVC rainwear- still not all that widespread
Women's Hunter and other brand rain boots- dropping in popularity slowly but still in good supply and use.
Lycra and similar tights- good showing this year- even shiny yoga Capri length tights.
Pleather, stretch PVC type pants/tights still in decent numbers.
There are thankfully exceptions to the lower numbers in some items. For example, for men with Wellies there have been some here and there such as those with the lace up hunters I have seen. I also saw a good couple on the train one rainy day: she had tall black rubber Wellies (I don't think Hunter but don't remember if I could tell the brand) and he had short solid black Tretorn Skerry wellies. Good day to see that.
