Its our local paper so no it didn't attract a load of customers but the reason I did it was to try and attract some new workers which had the desired effect.

I was hoping one of the nationals was going to pick up on the story but it never happened

Yes regarding your assistant I agree she is a cutie. A nice smile and she is not pouting! Just a personal thing, I find a young lady wearing it how it would be worn out on the street with clothes on underneath is by far the best. Good luck and keep up the good work Gary. Nice to hear you are expanding and it would be great if you were to get an order from one of the High Street shops.

Maybe Gary could write a book on the history of PVC rainwear, the HF welding machines and welding dies (?) and the full development of PVC-U-LIKE.? I am still hoping for an even bigger and more extensive return of PVC rainwear and 60's fashion rainwear to the market. Topshop and Primark have stepped on it a tiny tiny bit here and there, but of course nothing like the originality and design authenticity of PVC-U-LIKE.

All of the above will greatly increase the work load of Mr Lowther!!! As if he doesn't have enough going on all of the time!!!

I don't think I've got time to write a book but I would love to see more PVC on the high street. I'm presently working on a couple of projects with some high street brands about mainstream supply so hopefully I will achieve my mission of getting more girlies wearing PVC on the high street!
