I just had lovely, surprising encounter with beautiful shiny lady this morning.
I'd just arrived at Norbiton train station wearing one of my very shiny black PVC U Like macks. As I looked across to the opposite platform I saw the most wonderful sight... A beautiful, blonde girl wearing a long, shiny black PVC trenchcoat !
I nearly fell over with excitement. My heart was pounding.
I still had plenty of time time to wait before my train arrived so I decided to cross over to the other platform and have a chat with her.
But as I approached, I noticed she was with a man. Could have been a boy friend but possibly only a work colleague.
Anyway, I decided to carry on walking and just smiled.
But as I walked passed them, I heard her say to her boyfriend : 'Oh. I was hoping he would stop so I could ask him about his plastic mac.'
So I turned round to say hello, but her train was pulling in to the station. I knew I only had moments to speak.
She was about to get on the train and she shouted ! 'I really love your mack !' I replied ; 'Yours too ! It's gorgeous !'
'Thanks so much !' She said. 'Talk to you another time may be !'
This caused great amusement for the other passengers, but they just smiled.
I really hope I see her again. May be that guy wasn't her boyfriend... If he was, he's a very lucky man. She looked stunning !
She had the mac belted up with the collar turned up high. It looked like quite thick PVC and was possibly vintage. And very shiny !
As you can imagine, this really made my day. Truly !

You do seem to get far more than your fair share of real life 'encounters'
Re: Shiny encounter, moments ago...
Yes. Just luck I guess, Ray. The more that you wear your shiny macs outside, the more chance of meeting a fellow enthusiast. You never know where it might lead...
And thanks for all the great photos you supply, by the way. They're amazing ! Keep up the good work.
