Why are you asking for raincoats that won't rip or tear, when on another thread you say you enjoy ripping them off your wife, Ripper?
The truth is that all pvc and plastic raincoats have to be handled with care. Having said that, they do come in different thicknesses. Have a look (if you haven't already) at pvc-u-like. Their pvc raincoats are as strong as they come.
