Rainmac

Post by blackmacjay »

Just in case nobody knew this but Rainmac is continuing to trade.

Going to their website you can see it now hails from Boston in Lincolnshire instead of their site in Midhurst.

So give it a try ...........

In December 2015, the Rainmac brand was taken over by the Specialist UK Outdoor footwear supplier Evercreatures. Evercreatures benefit from over 12 years experience in manufacturing and distributing Wellington Boots and other footwear throughout the UK and Europe. The Rainmac brand continues to trade from a new head office in rural Lincolnshire. Evercreatures will grow the brand and continue to introduce excellent, quality rain wear made to last.
Broad minded enough to acknowledge we all enjoy different things:)

Yes Bill, I thought about that too. But seems to be a no-no. I'm assuming they can't find someone who can put these garments together.

But they are still out of stock of most PVC Macs and have been out of some sizes for over 12 months. Not back but still in LIMBO.

It's been a while since I bought from Rainmac but I did check and they do seem to be out of stock on many PVC mackintoshes but 12 months is a long time.

Good luck to all!!

Sent a e-mail to their info address at the beginning of the month. . . . no response yet and other than a new owner no announcements about keeping the brand alive. Unfortunately my gut tells me that this brand will probably disappear in time. I hope I'm proved wrong.
