quick update

Post by pvculike »

Guys, just a quick note to let you know that I have ordered 1000 suits from Indonesia. Unfortunately there are only two sizes standard and "jumbo". The standard size is a UK Medium and will fit mostly girlies, the Jumbo is slightly more generous and will fit up to a UK men's size large. I have ordered five colours and they will land with me late February. From the samples I received I can tell you that the plastic is slightly stiffer and stronger than my usual PUL mix, they are quite well made and some have a nice PVC aroma. As usual I will include them in my next photoshoot and I will share some pictures with you. I will offer the suits at a greatly reduced price to the Rainwear forum details to follow.

Also....the blue /yellow PVC material has now landed in my warehouse, those of you who cannot wait for the china made suits i can manufacture our "rainwear" designs in the UK including the SU36 two piece suit. Please note that due to the material being very expensive (0.400 microns) there is a 15% surcharge when you check out.

So if you fancy it let me know.

The 1000 suits Gaz mentioned refer to a completely different line, they're not the ones mentioned in the new thicker reversible blue/yellow ones.

Im to young to know this material from the past.
Would you please tell me whats the matter with this?

Are the two foils coated to each other or is there a extruder for each side on the production line?

Im also curious about the "Gingham". I know shower curtains wich look exactly the same, theyre textured - on the photos the PUL-Gingham looks like printed on a smooth plastic sheet. Is the PUL-Gingham textured or glossy/smooth?
