Oilskin Cycle Cape

I was wondering if any member has an Oilskin/PVC cycle cape from the 60s&70s they would like to sell or exchange for a PVC Mac or other items I have....Please message me

Good luck with your search for an oil skin one
I know you Wilko's (Wilinson's) use to sell the yellow pvc ones- that is where mine is from £10 from memory

the Wilko ones not a patch on the older ones though. Managed to pick up a Stormcheetah one from probably the 70s for a bargain tenner recently, brand new still sealed in the packet. Few to be found now.

Sorry to go off on a tangent. Have seen the ones you mean on ebay on rare occasions, usually going for what to me is silly money but then they arent available any more so demand exceeds supply

I was surprised that the Wilko one is thicker & not transparent like the pvc one i had in the 70's
Never had a oilskin one :(

Found this cycle cape on German ebay. It is made of the same rubber material as the vintage Klepper raincoat, very smooth:

Someone got an absolute fucking bargain there.

I SO would have bought this if I'd seen it.
