Yes Ray, I will have to go to London for when the heatwave finishes, there will probably be some lively thunderstorms as always.

No thunder, but there was a decent spell of rain on Bodmin Moor yesterday afternoon, which was much enjoyed. Suitably attired of course

Hi Jjai, Went to Neath week last Saturday (16th July). As soon as I stepped off the bus it started to rain and on went my see-through plastic Jeantex Toni raincoat while I strolled around Neath. Very enjoyable.

Hi Rainworshipper, Walked around Newton Abbot in my plastic see-through mac last Thursday when my wife and I stopped for lunch. Got a nice "knowing" smile from a lady passing by. Also spent a couple of hours in the same mac while walking in the rain around the gardens at Greenway, the National trust property near Dartmouth yesterday.

More rain forecast for South Wales this week. Hurray !!!!

Speaking of London, I was searching youtube for the Barbican centre in London to see the theatre and arts complex, as I will be going up to see a production soon, and it showed a 5 minute clip on the tourist displays they have there including a rain room !
Just type in a search for barbican centre and it will come up.
It shows a large area where you can walk through torrential rain and as you walk through, sensors turn the water off so apparently you don't get wet.
Has anyone been and seen it ?
