I'm new to here and a huge fan of traditional nylon macs as well as plastic macs. There aren't many of us who love nylon raincoats but I have been a devotee for as long as I can remember, which has to be well over 50 years. I'm currently in the Tyneside area.

MsPakamac, glad to see you've joined this forum. I have admired your collection on Pinterest, YouTube, etc. You have some lovely see-through plastic macs. What is your favourite, plastic or nylon ?

I was never sure if I would be welcome in this forum, me being trans, which is why it has taken me so long. I wish it was more proactive with messages forwarded in my email address so I had subtle reminders to keep looking in now and again. Apologies for my tardiness to everyone asking me questions.

What macs do I prefer? It's difficult to answer. Plastic macs give me a specific thrill to wear and be seen in but so do nylon macs, especially navy blue nylon macs. If I was forced to have only one mac, then in the end I think it would be the navy blue nylon mac in the picture in this thread.
