In tonight's episode Sinead, the part-time model is wearing a see-thru plastic rain jacket in quite a few of the scenes, very good she looks too

They've got a good track record with PVC rainwear. Sally Webster often wore a black PVC Mac in her early days on the show. Candice Stowe also had a black PVC raincoat. Beth Tinker is regularly seen in her red mac. It's all good in Corrie.

Yep, not forgetting Audrey's black mac, Rita's animal skin patterned metallic coat and more recently Izzy sometimes wears a Pink Primark style mac

I used to have a couple of pictures of Candice in her black mac but I can't find them anywhere. Can't find anything on the internet either.

There's a youtube video of Sally. I don't remember Audrey's mac at all.

If they keep dressing with rain macs maybe more people would watch soaps. I would be hooked for sure.

I remember Audrey's mac, which was a classic of its time, and similar to that worn by Angie in "Eastenders". They were both women who displayed an aura of experience (not necessarily all good) and "understanding". Otherwise appearances on mainstream TV have been somewhat fleeting. I do, however, recall a brief sighting of Amanda Burton in shiny black polyurethane ("sighs") in an episode of "Boon" (I think) in which she played an undercover policewoman posing as a lady of the night. She later joined the cast but regrettably appeared to have left the mac back in the wardrobe department at the police station.

That plastic see through mac, is that those ones that are all over ebay? If anyone has them are they the softer rmore rubbery ones or are they the harder plastic feeling ones, always fancied one myself
