Bakewell, Derbyshire
Hi,
Saw a lovely couple in Bakewell, Derbyshire on friday. She was wearing a longer 3/4 length shiny blue button up raincoat and he was wearing on of the checked black and see through New Look macs that were being sold this spring and summer.
Just wondering if they are members of this site. I would have stopped and had a chat but I had my elderly parents in tow who have no idea about my fetish.
Brightened up a cold dark afternoon.
Pete

Bakewell may be a good site for checking out rainwear.
A couple of years ago my wife and I went. She was wearing a single-texture satin rubberized mackintosh and it was black. And I had a single-texture mackintosh on as well except it was fawn.
There is money around so keep looking!!

Bakewell is a great place to see rainwear. When I was there in September, I saw numerous people wearing shiny wellies like myself, although I was the only one in a rubber mac unfortunately (sad face).

I have spent a couple of days in Matlock and visited Bakewell and Matlock Bath. Of course, I wore my faithful Jeantex Toni see-through plastic raincoat.
Some time ago I saw some photos of the gorgeous Patty (Patty-of-the Parlour), which were taken in Bakewell, wearing a lovely see-through plastic mac. I have a feeling that she lives not far from there and may visit Bakewell quite often. Could it be that Pete had the good fortune to have seen Patty and her husband enjoying a walk in the rain in their macs ?

For some reason Bakewell and Matlock is rather wet!
When I lived in Derbyshire Colleen and I would wear our waterproofs and have a wander round both of these areas on a Sunday.
Then have a truck up higher in the county.
Maybe as high as Buxton which was just as wet but colder! lol lol
