Does anybody know how a Finnish outfit was making stuff for the Swedes? A mystery.

Some Finnish firms were (and are?) producing goods for the Swedish military. For example, Nokian made the official Swedish Army rubber boots (Gummistövlar 90) (the second maker of these wellies was Acton from Canada).

Thanks for the info. Who would have thought that the Swedes would employ the Finns--but thinking again, outsourcing is all the rage. "Globalization."
Then I remember that when the US Army decided to switch to berets for everybody (self esteem for all) there was quite a fracas when they were
going to have them made in China(!!!!). That idea didn't last long. Ah, the military mind in action--a fearsome thing. Well, thanks again for the info.

Is Ebay the best place to find shiny Rukkas?

(Sigh..) I wish I could find a shiny Rukka in ANY color in my size... I think in 4 years on ebay, I have only seen 2 size 52 Rukkas. I have a black and silver Rukka one piece motorcycle suit that I love.
