opal stutterheim raincoat vs. aj group opalo
are the opal stutterheim raincoats very similar to the aj group opalo raincoats?
Re: opal stutterheim raincoat vs. aj group opalo
yes, they are the same material (which makes sense, since AJ group manufactures both coats). But in my humble opinion the Stutterheim is tailored better, for a more comfortable fit, hence the higher price tag.

so the material is very stiff right? I was hoping they had an unlined coverall.

The material from some Stockholm opal is quite stiff (but if feels great in my opinion, that needs to be said). However the opal capes (Oland) are less stiff. The same applies to the Mosebacke. It looks like they have reduced the thickness somewhat, but I am not sure. The material from the matt / semi glossy versions feels great or even nicer than the glossy versions

I was not sure if it was worth getting an AJ suit if it is too stiff. I am waiting for there to be PVC lined suit.
