What do you wear alongside your rainwear?

I enjoy wearing a plastic retro folding rain-mate to compliment my raincoat, was wearing yesterday in heavy rain, not a second look .

You can also get them from most rubber clothing manufacturer (Invincible, Sealwear, Kastleys etc) and ebay is worth a look if you want tight and shiny.

Besides the Drylife plastic pants Don Wellington mentioned Drylife also do plastic bloomers, that come down to the knee for extra coverage. I have both their plastic pants and bloomers and find them very durable and excellent quality. I also have their cream rubber pants but they don't do rubber bloomers. However Sealwear (http://www.sealwear.net/english/), also mentioned by Don Wellington, have rubber bloomers and also sell a matching rubber rugby-style shirt to go with them to make a "bloomer suit"; I have both of these, and they would keep you nice and warm under a long rubber trench-style belted mackintosh, that Sealwear also sell but which I don't have.

I've been checking the Drylife website for the rubber pants and plastic bloomers but both have been out of stock each time I have visited the site.

I wear Marigold Emperor ME107s when I go exploring at the mud flats as I often need to reach down into the mire to break the suction keeping my wellington boots or waders stuck tight. Recently I've added a GP-5 gas mask to my standard attire.
