Agree with Tim Raincoat, if only ..... Sadly I don't think we shall ever get back to those days where women [and men] wear 'Proper rainwear.

Never say never... actually you said "don't ever", but you know what I mean.

Who would have thought that PVC raincoats would become this popular a decade ago? It was stuff for fishermen and fashion stayed miles away from it in most countries... then Stutterheim came and changed it all. Same with Hunter rubber boots... I haven't seen a single person wear wellington rubber boots when i was younger, and a few years ago people wear them in the summer under a short dress or under their wedding dress for the official wedding pictures.

Fashion keeps on changing, never stop hoping.

There's only one reasom why people don't wear proper waterproof rainwear. Too many cars.

But eventually, people have to get out and walk for a distance.

So, again, I ask why not wear your mackintoshes in the car, I know I do.

I have SBR ,Oilskin ,and PVC macs...they all have their own attributes...all of them are superb in the rain !
