Seize the opportunity

Post by MacRobin »

If like me you are a bit bashful about going out wearing the full Monty, I can assure you that right now is a window of opportunity to do what you always wanted to do.

Being English, living in France, I differ from the local population of my village in many ways. For example, I need fresh milk and not the long life stuff that doesn’t taste good in a cup of freshly brewed Assam.

But today, when I went to the supermarket to top up with fresh milk, everybody looked at me with envy and it was all down to what I wore.

I wore layers. First on was my full body black latex two part hydroglove drysuit, with integral hood, gloves and feet.
For additional safety I put on an elbow length pair of smooth black pure latex quality gauntlets, not the cheap Chinese sort which crack.
Next was my waders, although to be honest, I find it difficult to drive in waders so I put these on last in the supermarket carpark.
Top layer was my SBR belted raincoat and then again for absolute safety, a shiny black rubber sou’wester.
To top it off I wore a pair of goggles and one of those small dust masks that just covers the mouth.

Essentially, I was self isolated in a public area.

I was admired by all other customers and one of them offered to carry my milk to my car, which I let her do.

It was such a success that I might go back tomorrow to buy some toilet rolls. They had plenty, and I don’t really need any, but is all I can think of.

Making the best of the current situation by spending the day indoors wrapped up in my PVC mackintosh. I am even experimenting with crossdressing which I have not done for years. Such a fun way to pass the time working from home. For anyone interested: PVC skirt, knee-high leather boots, tights and a long black shiny mackintosh.
