Farmerrain Gear
Farmerrain Gear
Hi all!
I've been interested in a Farmerrain suit for a while now. Unfortunately, they're quite expensive. Before I go and spend $350-400 on brand new rainwear, I was wondering if some kind folks who own Farmerrain gear could let me know if it's worth the price?
Thanks!!

If you are looking at Farmerrain for new rainwear you're in the right place, I have the black heavy duty version of the suit MissRachel is wearing in the photo above and I am very impressed with it, definitely one of my better purchases recently.

How do you like the red coveralls, I’ve been looking into getting them for atving, do you have full range of motion in them and how are they in the mud?

The cover-alls are easy to move around in. I do gardening in them. I have a link someplace here on the site of me in dirt but I really do not get sloppy. The seals on the boots and the wrist are very tight so for riding a ATV it may work out well. Just get the suit baggy: mine is actual a perfect fit.Livinlife11 wrote: ↑April 13th, 2020, 11:26 am How do you like the red coveralls, I’ve been looking into getting them for atving, do you have full range of motion in them and how are they in the mud?
The suit is warm and dry. Very cozy LivinLife11, I would recommend this suit!

The suit is well worth the money and if you take care of the suit it would last along time.

Re: Farmerrain Gear
We have 2, 2 piece suits. One is a jacket and jumpsuit in green and is the shiney black atlas jacket and matching jumpsuit.
Pretty sure we have an aj group dungers from elsewhere (will have to dig them out) EDIT: dug them out tonight, they were pros from waterproofs for you. I still think they are a little too heavy, can't imagine how heavy a full suit is but we had fun anyway.

I've started to realise as I've had more experience as our collection grows that the two of us like lighter weight stuff as most of our fun is indoors so we want stuff that's not too hot and easy to move about in.
Thier standard material for thier own stuff is off the top of my head 460gsm which is about the limit for us.
Her green jacket is warm and comfortable and has become daily winter wear, it has a soft lining which she likes but the lamination has started to seperate in places and the jumpsuit tore in the bum (I've now put a hole in the front and I wear it for fun times)
The shiney atlas items are my favorite. Just the right weight (they list it now as 400gsm but when I bought it they listed the black and red at 380 I think) The jumpsuit feels lovely to swish about in and I'm torn between keeping it pristine or putting a hole in for fun times.
I'm really trying not to drop a tonne of money there at the mo as they've just released a long coat in the same shiny fabric and I could easily have more of the other atlas items in different colours. And they have the thigh waders I've been dying to try for years.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, my financial situation Is such that I can't spend $300-400 on rainwear. That being said, should this situation clear, I'll definitely be buying myself a suit!
