What is Raintosh?

Hello Wet Friends,

being new I tend to have missed most of the site's history. Some posting goes back to 2010!

I was trying to see if there was a "Rainboy" site and found Raintosh.

What is this site???

I am no expert, but I'll tell you what I know. Back in the early days of the Internet raintosh (a South African chap I believe) had a site filled with lots of rainwear images - mainly black rubber, but some PVC and plastic. I used to visit frequently as there were regular updates. No videos back then, and online content was very limited. I believe that when the site went offline the content was transferred to this forum for posterity.

If you search Google for raintosh you get all sorts of lovely hits coming up, even though most are not related to the original site. So thanks for reminding me of those early days and the delights of the images.

I think you are right. RainTosh is a "legacy" website that predated this one. Plenty of cool pictures. Thanks JellyMan.
