Like fetishists for the old school nylon soccer (football across the pond) uniforms, they are few and far between here in the US and all over the UK. But I will wear my raincoats in drag or drab and even when it's not raining. I will also admit I've been in to rain suits since I was 10, and 42 now, I have never known anyone else that is in to them - unless they keep it to themselves.

I wonder about regional fetish tastes being angled toward what people grew up with during childhood and how although there are people who crop up all over the bulk comes from wet countries.
You read people's histories and many from the UK had anoraks and cagoules as regular attire or school uniform and grew passions for them. Pvc macs were common for a while an large stores like c&a.
Although I'm young enough to miss all that mine grew from the plethora of items for walking like Peterstorm cagoules.

If you look over at regnfrakker where the majority of people are from Nordic countries and the common taste is heavy rainwear where it's common to be worn more regularly.
We've been posting with the awesome fetish community on Instagram, check us out.

I live in North Carolina and have a good sized collection of rainwear. Most of it has come from online purchases on places like eBay. Beyond rain boots, it is hard to find rain gear in the United States. I think this is due to the driving culture we have because everything is spread out. Why wear a raincoat when an umbrella will do the trick from parking spot to store entrance?

I think that is true TStorm56. The culture is such people make a dash from car to office. In cases that you take the train no one will bother to wear anything beyond a simple nylon runners racket. In my case I take the train and wear heavey rain pants and a heavy jacket but this is only in the winter: Dallas gets too hot anyother time.

Hello North Carolina person, We moved to NC about 3 years ago and we live in the mountains.

I, for one, love the 54" of rain we get each year.

And most of our stuff comes from the UK.

Were you able to enjoy the storms last night? They happened a bit late, around 12am or so. I was able to enjoy 45 minutes of torrential rain in my heavy duty yellow ocean rainsuit, coincidentally purchased off of eBay UK!
