Isn't that the floating bar come diner moored up by the bridge ? Or it was at one time, at the back of my mind I have an inkling that something happened to it a couple of years ago.

That sounds the one, next to a car park from memory.
The other side of the road the bridge carries to the Castle.

I remember now what I heard about it, back in January it was due to be docked and have it's underside re-plated and painted. Should image that was well overdue considering that it was originally a Spillers grain tanker plying it's trade between Hull and Gainsborough.

I know, I have been up and down to Keadby a number of times myself and it's not uncommon to see unwary boaters run aground on a falling tide.

Never sailed either but sat on river bank at Susworth or East Butterwick pubs you can see how quick the Trent flows.
