As time moves on.
Marks and Sparks use this wording as it must shift more jackets.
Rubber being waterproof.
PU also waterproof but lets all the water run down the jacket to your knees.
Best to buy your rubber macs soon. As in 5 years they may no longer be available.

These M&S raincoats are expensive and overall just look a bit ordinary and boring in my opinion, although I appreciate threads like this giving information of new rainwear from mainstream B&M shops.
