Rubber lined macs

Post by staggy »

Hi all, I am looking for some nice rubber lined rainwear, I’ve found some lovely rubber raincoats but all are cotton backed or polyester backed which doesn’t float my boat lol, any recommendations for heavy vinyl, pvc or rubber rainwear which are also shiny on the inside?

Sadly this kind of rainwear is becoming very hard to find now. Anything that is proofed with rubber is probably very expensive now, pvc that is shiny on both sides is not easy to find, the only place I can think of is PVC u Like. I was lucky to get a pvc raincoat in a charity shop recently but that was a rare find.

You can't do better than Hamilton Classics for rubber lined rainwear, but rubber inside and outside is rare even secondhand these days.

I know that WeatherVain will line them in rubber on request; but it's expensive. Basically you have to double the cost on the website. I had one made for ny wife (after weather or not shut down) was very fetish but cost almost 1500 dollars us.
