Wondering if anyone else has sat in the garden, as a fully dressed female wearing a PUL Blue raincoat with hood up. The lightening was close and the clap of the thunder was very loud. The rain was very intense glad i had my wellies on as well to keep my feet dry. It was wonderful to be out in that rainstorm.
June.

Re: thunderstorm
Not sat in the garden but whenever it rains I'm straight out with my regatta wet suit top and bottoms and either bullseye waders underneath or one of my many pairs of hunter wellies, to find a muddy place.
Get your boots on
Re: thunderstorm
When we had some heavy rain a week or so ago, I walked around on my patio wearing just my Top Shop EVA hooded mac and wellies. It was really nice to feel and hear the rain beating down on the surface of my mac

Re: thunderstorm
I frequently do this for pleasure, but not in a thunderstorm, but definitely in a heavy downpour.
I wear heavy duty Guy Cotten waterproofs (similar to fishermen gear) and it is great to feel and hear the rain beating down on the suit.
I have even worn an Avon rubber drysuit, hood, gasmask and gloves..........totally protected and totally waterproof.
Summer storms are best as you can wear nothing underneath, but generally I am dressed underneath.
Warm summer rain is also good for wearing just a long see-thru plastic mack and trousers. I usually add plastic pants for added pleasure.
Is this 'kinky'.............NO!!.... just good fun and very pleasurable.
