So who has ever had a situation where they have bared their soul and come out about their fetish, only to be totally misunderstood?
One girlfriend tried to suggest that a shiny lame dress was PVC. Another bought latex pants instead of plastic - they were very nice, but way off track, but she quite liked wearing them. Strangely I found her trying to get in to them very sexy, and being crotchless it was a wonderful sight. I just couldn’t bring myself to tell her about talc, needless to say, the relationship didn’t last, and she took the pants with her. Finally one girl bought me a PVC shirt, and in her defence it was meant to be the right thing, but what turned up smelled like rotten fish and was a weird sticky material which probably would have been impossible to wear if I had ever got to try it on!

Unwanted Substitutions…
Re: Unwanted Substitutions…
I've been there, but not misunderstood - used against me partly as a reason for divorce.

That’s awful, I’m really sorry to hear that. I have had one break up where she told me she hated wearing plastic as part of it, although the whole relationship was falling apart and we both knew it, but it still hurts a lot to hear it said. Partly because it makes you feel wrong and partly because you wonder if all women secretly feel that way and just put up with our fetishes. Luckily, many years later, I can say for me it was just her response although even to this day I make sure that I am in control of my needs and don’t allow it to dominate our lives.

For me I wish that I had opened up to women about having a fetish for rainwear. I kept it to myself and thought I was probably the only person who felt like this.
