Newbie into shiny raincoats and glossy puffers.

Post by Blackvinyl »

Hello fellow raincoat lovers.
A 'newbie' I think thats what Im called.
I discovered R.C. over Christmas, while avoiding the usual tv junk. I started to read a few stories, most of which I can sort of relate to.
I really am looking forward to reading, learning and even maybe writing.

Welcome to the site. Would I be right at guessing you favourite rainwear items would be black PVC?

Hi. Yes. I love both pvc but particularly thicker vinyl which has a unique sticky sound to it!

Welcome to this forum, Blackvinyl. You are amongst likeminded people here. From what I have noticed there do seem to be a few from Essex here(not me though).

Welcome Blackvinyl, love your name but real black vinyl more. One piece of gear I loved more than any other was, years ago, was a Belstaff cycle cape, very thick and heavy with a wonderful smell. Had much fun in it over the years and sad when I had to get rid of it because it went brittle
