To Go or Not To Go

Post by David »

Been so hot here in GB, Wi that i sadly haven't had much of an opportunity to wear any rainwear this summer aside from one night with a quick jaunt over to the local convince store so my cousin could get a pack of smokes. So on went the yellow bib pants, my grey rubber rainboots and my black pvc enclosed cape. The experience was a thrilling one with the powerful wind driven rain plastering the cape to my body as we quickly splashed thru the flooded streets in the short 2 block walk and back. Lasted an additional hour or so but he was soaked and wanted to dry off as he had refused my offer of a loaner raincoat for his trek. So i could not enjoy myself by staying out in the storm like i has so yearned to do.
Fast forward to today where some powerful storms are forecast and again already have plans to attend a concert with a friend in Milwaukee this evening at 7 p.m. when the storms are supposed to be in my neck of the woods in Green Bay by like 8 p.m.
Am so torn to make something up to get out of said concert cause it sounds like these storms could really be something to behold with powerful winds and heavy rain.
So wish i could have seen into the future for this day I mean i know I will enjoy the concert but missing out on this storm seems like something i will regret after.

Definitely a dilemma that not too many people have for sure lol. If it was me I would for sure have gone out in that storm as I am in Colorado and it hasn’t stormed much here either.
