Resisting temptation?!?

Having just read 'Black magic mac and Black rainmacs' (for the 10th time at least), in the story section, both of which remind me of a similar situation years ago, desperately resisting the temptation to beg, borrow or steal. I wondered whether any of you readers have ever been tempted?
I woke up in my bedsit, hung over, still fully dressed. But. I was still zipped up and hooded in a lovely soft shiny pvc jelly jacket. I remember the party. Getting very drunk. But coming home. Nope!
I was 20. Doing battle with my rainwear fetish. It was 1976. I was a uni. student in London. Booze and dope were the norm. To this day I have no idea where that jacket came from, presumably the party, or who was missing it! But I had it and boy did I enjoy it.

I stole plastic baby pants from the village store. They were large size, but not adult, and were too tight not to split down the sides. I remember the excitement of a new pair, and trying to pull them on very carefully for the first time to see if I could get fully encased in the soft shiny material but invariably one side would split almost immediately. But still wearable front and back. Probably took about half a dozen pairs over a few years. But in my defence, I had no access to any other plastic clothing, so it was my fetish what drove me to do it, I rest my case!

I was a district magistrate. If you had appeared in my court with six charges of theft, Im afraid you would have been fined the cost of the goods, and made to wear plastic nappies and pants continuously for six months. To make sure you complied, they would be locked on with a baby trainer harness. Of a night time you will wear plastic pants under your little plastic nightie and be locked with chains into your crib until morning. Hopefully that will teach you a lesson. Case closed.

Oh I've done that...

Stole or maybe I swapped a pink jelly coat from woolworths in my teens.

My friend and I went to the store one lunchtime during school, and tried on a number of jelly coats. Yellow. purple, clear, and pink. We forget the time and ran late to get back to school. when I looked at my watch I was wearing a purple jelly coat and we just ran out of the store, I knew what I was doing... leaving my old pink jelly coat. i can remember the pockets being marked with ink so I needed a change.. hehe

later on in life when I was about 28 i was out for an evening and sat beside a lady who had her coat over her seat, the coat was a BULLETT black PVC long mac. I got totally "bungalowed" that evening and just took her coat and walked out with it on, I remember saying to myself.. If I'm caught, I've had it.. I made it home.. I still wear it. its beautiful.

Like most of you, my fetish seemed to start in my junior years. My first attempt at 'borrowing', actually ended rather well!
Having been nosing in my mums wardrobe and coming across her plastic mac hanging there, I used to visit it whenever I could and rub my face in it. One evening I was left being baby sat by my older sister. Id gone to bed, but had sneaked mums raincoat into bed with me. Having cuddled and fondled it, promptly fell asleep. To be awoken by a somewhat irate mum who had returned late and popped into my room to check on me! Oooops!
Showing the innocents of childhood, I told her how much I liked the feel of it. Instead of being cross, she went out the following day and bought me one! Talk about feeding a fetish. There was no turning back after that!!!!

Interesting. I have to blame my parents in a similar fashion. They indirectly encouraged my liking for the shiny stuff as a child! Did they not know what they were doing!!!!

when i was little i borrowed a shiny old raincoat that was yellow/blue that hanged in the hall . I totaly go obsessed with raincoats like that after .

This all sounds very familiar!

In my early teens I'd just discovered the joys of seeing girls in plastic macs at school (this was the late 70's early 80's when jelly jackets were in abundance) and I used to make sure I went out with girls who I knew owned one, in the hope she might wear it when we went out together.

I also had got into the naught habit of "borrowing" girls plastic macs from the the school cloakroom, stuffing them in my school bag and taking them home with me, sleeping in them at night in bed and then returning them the next day. This practice went on from about the age of 12 to 15 I think, I am not necessarily proud of the fact but as a horny teenager with hormones out of control, I had a great time with a lot of wonderful plastic raincoats!
