I was going in the door of Dunelm this morning when I saw something from the good old days. I passed a guy dressed in a petrol blue full length nylon mac with the hood up. I quickly turned around and made my way out of the shop and followed the guy across the carpark at a safe distance. He briefly turned around as he got to his car and I could see that he was balding and about 70. I was for a second going to approach him but decided to go to my car as cover and returned to the store.
His mac was possibly a 'Totes' from the 1970's, I have a couple in beige and gold. I wondered if he was wearing a skirt underneath his mac as he was wearing knee high leather boots that could have been ladies. A lovely sight that brought back memories.
There was a lot of heavy rain earlier but no other sightings of nice rainwear. Has anyone else seen any?

Re: sightings
Saw a young guy in Tescos this morning wearing lovely wellingtons, made small talk with him so that I could see more of his wellingtons. A very rare sight these days. Didn't see anyone else in what I would call 'real rainwear'
Re: sightings
I was out and about yesterday morning in my blue full length Artic Storm Mac ( from Anazon). Bought about 4 years ago.
Full length kept my trousers dry, plus it's a lightweight Mac that is easy and comfortable to drive in .

Only ever saw them on Amazon, see a shop at Edinburgh sells AW clothing , but no picture of the Mac I bought. It's knee length on me and I'm 6'2", a bargain for about £18 .
