I've been out a few times in the rain wearing my new pvc Thor pit mac this week. Once around a local shopping area, including going in shops and then to a local Country Park yesterday, Nobody batted an eyelid at my raincoat

The only thing that puts me off getting one of those is the logo on the front and back.
