In a short time

Post by Gerlid »

I a short time i have understood, this is not about raingear. It’s about PVC.
So I think I say Goodbye. Nice to know you.

That not true, ask all the nylon cagoule lovers on the site. There are plenty of members who like latex and gabardine and satin. Leave if you want, but I think you have misunderstood.

Me thinks rather too fickle. Its a fetish site, covering many aspects of the rainwear fraternity. Just keep reading and digging and you will find what you like. Have a nice bank holiday weekend.

I'm sorry you feel that way. This site actually caters for the rainwear community as a whole. Although plastic & PVC does dominate here, there are also lots of posts about rubber, nylon, cagoules and other forms of rainwear. There really is something for everyone here

Please reconsider your decision to leave.

Goodbye to Gerlid….. seems a slightly odd move but each to their own I guess. Shame as I would have liked to hear more about Swedish nylon rainwear. Like is mentioned above, we don’t all like the same stuff on here, (although there is lots of common ground!) but have a look, enjoy the posts, contribute if you want and find the stuff that interests you. (Like life itself…..)

Yes I will admit PVC and PVC coated fabrics display a high degree of attraction (along with latex and polyurethane and more) but we welcome those loving the shiny nylon.

I love the return of shiny nylon puffer jackets especially. I would love to see the return of shiny bold color nylon anorak pullover style jackets. The ones here in the states sold by “The Lodge” in shopping malls were especially attractive though a return of those in actual waterproof nylon would be a dream.

I see nylon discussed so not sure departing a discussion group over abundance of PVC is prudent.

Hi, perhaps I have made a to fast conclution. I guess I havn’t read enough on the site, but it was a feeling I got about PVC. And perhaps, I don’t understand everything. It was a discussion about number plates for exampel. It confused me. But I will give this site another chans, there is a lot of nice and exciting things in it.
Btw, weather has been really bad for some days here, a lot of raingear out in the streets. Love to see my wife in her red jagande grey pants 😊
