Practical question for those that do it. I’ve read that PVC tends to retain odors and is difficult to get back to normal. Latex is less so, yes? So what rainwear and boots materials do you use and do you stick to latex and real rubber wellies for that sort of play?

I’ve done it in both and by toilet play I mean the golden stuff nothing else, I’ve never struggled with smells afterwards, shower straight away with latex cleaner such as be gloss or vivishine

From our experiences with "P-panties" made from rainwear fabrics I can say that odours can be removed quite well by washing. And they are being wetted from the fabric side in our case. But it depends on how often you use them this way.
And we also wash them quite hot at 60 degrees.
After about 50 to 60 use/wash cycles they start to look ugly. As soon as it is too much they have to make space for new ones.
