Weather Or Not Raincoats

Post by maxulike »

Hi,
Can anybody please tell me when "Weather Or Not" were making single texture rubber cotton macs?
I cannot find any info on them.
Thanks.

Yes they did. There was a lightweight cotton, and also a heavyweight cotton. I do own a lightweight one.

Hi maxulike! Best bet is to send a PM to Miker_uk (he's a long-standing member on here). He is sure to know as he has posted stuff about Weather or Not macs in the past and has put up photographs of them. He can be contacted here: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=3671& ... aad28f0a10 You'll have to log in to view his profile. Good luck! :)

I have three Weather Or Not Mackintosh's. One lightweight, one medium rubber and one single texture with a rubber lining.
I understand they retired 20 years ago.
I went to there house in Market Drayton where they produced the Mack's.

Thanks for letting me know. I am still hoping to find out about the brown spots which have started to appear on my Weather or Not mac, and if there is any way to get rid of them, or at least stop them getting worse!
Cheers
