when i was young the plastic mac was often refered to as plastic mac n hood .
like to think of a strict mummy saying be a good girl and keep your plastic mac n hood on. all folk like their own favourite words . lots of ideas , like saying to a girl friend mmm you look so sexy in your shiny mackintosh mack ing toshhhh

i love the word and use whenever i get the the chance. I think merv must have led a very shallow life.

I often go out of my way to say the word Mackintosh in full rather than Mac and I am the same with wellingtons and wellies, there is something sexy sounding about both of those words in full to me.

Not bothered about the word Macintosh, but when a woman talks about plastic in the context of clothes it gets me going. I knew a girl that referred to her black faux leather leggings as her “plastic trousers” which they weren’t, but none the less turned me on when she did!

Well in fact they actually ARE plastic trousers or more exactly made from plastic (usually PU) coated fabric.
And yes, I find the term also sexy if used by the wearer.
