Can anybody vouch for the polyamide material? Is it rubbery or more of a texture feel?

It's very shiny on the outside and has a slight pvc smell to it. It's quite flexible rather than stiff which makes it easier to wear. The inside has more of a textile feel. I would say it is well worth the money.
