Re: Heat
Yes, too hot for any rainwear. I am enjoying the cheerful sunny weather at the moment, but the rain is likely to return next week here in South West England.

Re: Heat
It's ok putting lovely raincoats on in this hot weather. It's trying to get them off as they cling and stick to your body with sweat.
But lovely feeling.

Re: Heat
These are better to wear in this hot weather as they don't cling and stick to your body so much as pvc and nylon rainwear ect .very niceWilmaRukka wrote: ↑August 1st, 2024, 8:55 am i used long shiny big wide rukka raincoats, they are like a tent on me, i wear them fully closed in the warm sun, its been lovely.

Not too hot for plastic baby pants! In this heat I am wearing just a T-shirt and two pairs of plastic panties! One pair of milky white rubbery plastic pants topped out with a pair of semi-transparent pink plastic popper pants, - they are simply wonderful!!

Those who are finding it difficult to wear their raincoats in the heat, take heart from the triple gold medal Canadian Olympic swimmer, 17 year old Summer McIntosh.

I agree with you about the pink plastic baby pants. Twenty years ago, age 63 I was first put into plastic pants by an assertive younger Master-type. I accepted the need to prepare for my probable care-home future and have gradually replaced my textile underpants by plastic or rubber pants and bloomers. I've worn many makes of plastic pant since and was delighted 20 years after my first Drylife plastic pants to find they sold them in pink! Now I've become a pensioner in pink plastic panties!pvc_simon wrote: ↑August 1st, 2024, 6:00 pm Not too hot for plastic baby pants! Absolutely. That word always triggers a frisson in me-especially when for reasons I don't quite understand, it's delivered in a broad Australian accent.annabell-cagoule wrote: ↑August 5th, 2024, 6:24 am Her name. Summer McIntosh, the spelling is different but the word excites many of our members.
