Re: Plastic pants
Cool idea!
Today I thought I might try how they feel when coming directly from the washing machine.
I tried it with two different models. The first one made from white PU coated Polyamide and the second one made from yellow PU coated polyester rainwear fabric. I just wiped the outside plastic coating with a towel beforehand. And then I slipped into them. The feeling is quite arousing while they are being pulled up. After that they feel a little as if they had been "wetted" except for the fact that the whole inside is wet while usually only the lower part is getting wet when actually being used for their intended purpose.
But all in all it feels nice. I will also try the same with a pair of black shiny vinyl jeans. I already know the feeling of vinyl jeans that have been treated with massage oil or baby oil.

Re: Plastic pants
I have worn plastic pants since my teens so that is now over 50 years ago and the pleasure is still there.
I wear them regularly, either with other pvc and plastic wear or under everyday clothes........or sleep in them.....Why.........just for the sheer pleasure they give.
Buying them in the old days was either 'Sandra' brand or Boots 'Brumas'. Bought a load from Robinson once, but they were expensive.
Tried Pvc-u-Like, but my retailer now is Ebay from China a make called 'Haina'. They are well made, soft and comfortable and are value for money. unlike some retailer who sell at a high price knowing the buyer is usually a fetishist.
One seller on Ebay 'dumpthelot' was having a clear out and all the stuff (Haina) was new and sealed in their packaging........I bought three items and all I can say is 'I had a big smile on my face' when they arrived given the price I paid for each item.
So to finish, plastic pants are great after they warm up and the feelings of wearing them just gets better as you 'slip and slide' around in them.

Re: Plastic pants
I never put my plastic pants in the washing machine. I'm afraid that the plasticiser will wash out and make them less supple. Instead I just rinse them in warm water and hang them up on the shower head to drip-dry. That way I find my original Drylife plastic pants, bought 20 years ago and regularly worn are still in perfect condition.ilikecoated wrote: ↑August 12th, 2024, 9:40 am Cool idea!

Re: Plastic pants
I don't know about washing machines but you certainly have to be careful with tumble driers. When I lived above a launderette in East London in the early 70's it was not uncommon for the customers to have to summon the "minder" (who herself often wore a red PVC rainjacket) to "release" pairs of plastic pants that had become stuck to the sides of the drum. I never had the courage to try to dry my Sandras in one.

Re: Plastic pants
I can agree with that. But putting on a freshly machine washed one is also very nice. I have to agree that they suffer more from machine wash. But aren't they actually made for suffering from the beginning ?
Re: Plastic pants
Definitely not! All my clothes are to be looked after and treated with respect. I always mourn the demise of a favourite PVC raincoat or pair of plastic leggings. I think I might need to start a new charity - National Society for the Protection of Rainwear (NSPR). I’d have white vans driven by men and women in shiny black plastic suits for their uniforms, driving around saving innocent plastic pants from abuse and bringing them back to me to be loved and cared for

Hi Cherie
I’m exactly like you, I always care for my rainwear and plastics. Just got a pair of pink and semitransparent pants, have just hand washed and hung in shower to drip dry.
Looking forward to slipping them on tomorrow when all dry.
Regards
Scotty

Re: Plastic pants
Despite taking care, I am always disappointed that my plastic pants do not last as long as I would like. I would love to know how some people can have pants that remain in good condition for years when, on mine, the seams invariably start to go after a few weeks of wearing. Either they have found pants with a better seam construction, are not made of pure unbacked plastic, or wear a fuller garment so that the seams are not stressed. When you are paying £25 a pair it would be nice if they lasted a bit longer. I do repair damage to prolong the life, but once there is a repair, the pants are never quite as nice anymore.

I guess it wouldn't be too difficult to find enough volunteers on this site alone.Definitely not! All my clothes are to be looked after and treated with respect. Coming back to the suffering part: I don't know what percentage of plastic panties are bought by "plastic lovers" . I guess less than 10%. The manufacturers and medial suppliers are aware of our "alternative use" and don't mind a little extra revenue. Even some particular Suprima products support this assumption.
But let's not forget that maybe some thousands of them are being wetted only while I write this. And some hundreds of thousands are desperately waiting to be wetted during the day. In the best case they are rinsed right afterwards and receive careful cleaning. In the worst case they stay wet for some time, maybe until there is a large enough pile for starting the washing machine. And then they receive a proper boil wash.
There must still be hundreds of new ones being taken into service each day worldwide and almost the same amount being "decommissioned" and ending in landfills and incinerators.
I wonder how many of these back from the times when they were most popular (fifties to seventies) are rotting in a dump. Stiff and yelllowish from daily use. I can clearly remember how they turned stained and ugly when I was a kid and how much different new ones looked when they were tanken into service for the first time. During winter times the old ones ended ip in the heating. I liked wearing them a lot but at the same time I hated being put into these because I felt very sorry for them.
And don't forget that shiny vinyl garments for instance suffer quite a lot from normal wearing already. Tight fitting vinyl jeans for instance suffer from the stretching and motion and the tighter they are the sweatier they get and sweat is definitely a "killer".
