Swim in rainwear

Post by Gerlid »

Just had a nice evening yesterday. Beeing alone at home for some days, I have a freedom to do some fun and pleasant things. Yesterday evening I put on two pair of rainwear and took a bath in our outdoor spa. Those rainwear, cagoule and pants, have a lining made of polyester and a shell made of nylon and they have hoods. So lovely to go down in the warm water when it’s -10 celcius in the air and feel the water coming in. Those rainwear is pretty waterproof and if I put some straps around my ankels and a belt around my waist, it takes a while for the water comes in. It was also a crystal clear evening with a nearly full moon. So lovely to float around in my rainwear with all the stars above.
Anyone else who likes to take a bath in raingear?

I like getting really wet in my rainwear. I sometimes jump in the river when I am in rainwear, but it is too cold for that at this time of year. Roll on the spring, I still wear my macs out in the winter but it is much more enjoyable in the warmer months.

never actually had a swim in rainwear , but I used to go fishing from the shore wearing nothing but wellies and 3 layers of rubber lined rain-suits .
Funny thing but I allways seemed to find it necessary to wade out into the sea up to my neck , and as a previous rainwear and water lover said ,, the feeling of the water seeping up inside the layers of rubber is magic , I found it so arousing and stimulating that I had to take things in hand to releive the pressure

Yes definitely love taking a bath or shower in my Nylon waterproofs or pvc long ladys mac's. Hoods up and sometimes have more than one mackintosh on at a time .
It's a lovely enjoyable feeling.
