Driving home from work
Re: Driving home from work
Years ago I had a long drive to work. I used to wear a 1980’s shiny nylon tracksuit, usually only the top, but sometimes with the trousers. It was unlined nylon inside and out - bought from millets (where the young girl shop assistant said it was really nice and she was thinking of getting one for herself). Being very shy I aLways took the outfit off before getting out of the car at work. Loved the feeling of my free hand on the smooth surface that made the journey go by so much quicker for some reason!

I've driven to or from work in a number of my newly-bought cagoules recently. As with JellyMan, I haven't worn them in or out the door, though. I haven't even worn them through our front door yet as my wife doesn't knoe about my fetish at the moment.

Hi guys. I dont quite get why you are so coy and shy about wearing your shiny stuff. It seems that most of the items discussed probably come from high street retailers, who sell these items to people to wear when its wet and rainy. Peter Storm is regularly mentioned. Just wander around North Wales in November when it non stops raining. Everybody wears rainwear. Cagoules everywhere. Rainmacs everywhere. Worn because they are designed to keep people dry. The fact that we actually get turned on by them, does not suddenly make that particular item of clothing weird or labelling you. To the average Joe, you are wearing it because it keeps you dry. I actually get turned on by wearing very shiny hooded macs. Black vinyl or pvc. I wear them regularly out weather rain or not. I occasionally get the odd double take, maybe a knowing nod, but really nobody takes any notice. They have probably far more important things on their minds then what I am wearing.
Point being..... stop worrying about what other people think. The likelyhood is they probably dont even notice. Dont care. They may even be envious because you have one and they dont. Just put your nylon mac or cagoule on. Enjoy it. If you have a partner, just come home in it. I think you may find they will compliment you on a sensible coat. They may even want one for themselves! Get in there! I did! It worked.

Totally agree. By not wearing unless 'in secret' you are creating your own barriers. Probably 99% of the population do no know or care what fetish or kink is!
Re: Driving home from work
I wasn't driving home from work but was wearing my purple see through Primark mac whilst driving quite late on Monday night. Stopped at the services on the M42 for a little stroll round, felt so good.
Last week, when it was raining, I spent 15 or 20 minutes at the counter of a local building society wearing my black Top Shop EVA mac (female design so doing up the 'wrong' way for a man). I was talking to the 3 women, and a male manager, behind the counter and no one batted an eyelid even though I fiddled with the poppers several times. So I think that providing the mac you ware wearing is a 'sensible' colour for a man nobody will take any notice

Couldnt agree more. If you are going to wear flamboyant colours or styles, you may then encourage criticism, but being sensible, you may get a sideways glance or a nod of acknowledgement, but probably nothing more.

Re: Driving home from work
I have always worn cagoules and overtousers out when it is raining, but it is only in the last 3 years or so that I have had the confidence to wear a long Pvc mac out in public. When I was young back in the 1980's a PVC mac had become a fashion item for women instead of practical rainwear for men and women and I would not have dared to buy or wear one. I don't feel as self conscious now, I shall be out for a drive and a bike ride in the rain this morning and I will be enjoying it.
