The mac in 'Kay And Mother Survive A Flood' is an original style from Go Travel (not to be confused with the thin ones sold today) these were available in outlets all over the UK for around £10 in the '80s & '90s
There was even a thread about them a few years ago

The macs showed white or 'silver' depending on the light available, they had coloured drawstrings Black, Yellow or Blue with matching poppers

Tracey Ullman wearing her plastic raincoats and rain-bonnets are a joy. I do remember watching her show when she originally had them on.

I also remember the middle Macked model, think her name was Mel. She looks stunning in her semi clear mac.
If I’m correct her photo used to be posted in the Rainwear Cafe web site. Lovely photo collection of her wearing a folding rain-bonnet is superb. Alas no more!
