I absolutely agree with you. I also like the soft, noisy, class-clear or opaque, very shiny, unlined materials, the noisier, the better.

I have bought these Plastico coats from a german company called "funplastic". www.funplastic.de
The blue one is from Plastico. The red one is from PUL, the black one is from kemo (www.kemo.de).

you will find a lot there on their websites. they have english language as an option, too.

I recently ordered a raincoat made by Blue eyed genius. They look very shiny, and indeed they are,
but I dont like the EVA tyüe of material they are made from. The vinyl isnt supple, isnt soft, is durable and stiff,
and they absolutely dont make any noise, they arent clingy. EVA type, as it is.

I also like the glass clear umbrellas, brollies and southwesters, made of shiny noisy unlined vinyl.
I especially like the coats from the 60s, 70s, which are clear, and see-through, as they mostly have the old style of vinyl of the 60s, as they used a lot of plasticizers then. I know the use of plasticizers were reduced a lot in todays vinyl. bute I like the old coats and styles very much.

I must admit though that you are either brave or care-free to wear shiny or glass clear raincoats (including the coloured variants- black, blue, red and so forth) in busy public places, such as a the train. I suppose that the culture is different in Germany (is that where you reside?) compared to here in the UK, where a man might risk being called a 'puff' or 'tranny' if he casually wore shiny PVC rainwear in public areas, especially so when it is not actually raining. That said, provided that the rainwear is no overtly feminine in design or colour (e.g. no pink), a man should not attract too much negative attention by wearing shiny or glass clear PVC rainwear, especially if the weather is imminently appropriate (in other words, pouring down with rain).

As a PVC rainwear lover, I admit to wearing shiny and glass clear PVC rainwear, as well as the clear PVC umbrellas, in heavy rain (and only in heavy rain), but I personally would not be seen dead wearing PVC rainwear, such as a glass clear red raincoat, on public transport, for example. Luckily, my 'Missus' is more than comfortable with my fetish and is more than happy to 'dress for the occasion', be it at home or out in the elements.

I wear mine mostly when its raining just to feel nice and warm. Rain and bad weather seem to inspire it.
Plenty of it right now as the weather pushes through to the east.
