Of course the decision is yours especially as it's your funds that keep the site running
The reality is we seem to have 'lost' a number of people who made the majority of contributions, how many of the people who used to post original material now do so?
Interesting to see the majority of people posting on this thread have made minimal contributions to it
If you want keep this place alive it's not only down to Paul, it's up to ALL of us who want the site to continue

Paul, maintaining this website is up to you. You have a few options:
1. have a sponsor option
2. Talk to regnfrakker (ThreeXL and LatexKitty) and maybe team up or just move to there.
3. Join Fetlife and close this site
4. find a cheaper server.
Those are my thoughts.

The only moaning old gits on here are the usual suspects relentlessly bagging other people's posts or photos. I've had to warn a couple of them more than once (with Paul's full knowledge and approval)
No wonder people don't feel comfortable posting with clowns like them just waiting to leap in and have a go at them. I'm not about naming or shaming people, but they know who they are.
As the old saying goes, "If you've got nothing nice to say, then don't say it."
About posting photos. A while ago, I wrote a post suggesting that people use Imgur for posting and sharing images on this forum. It's VERY easy to do and it is completely virus and ad-free. Please make use of this service.
Regarding other 'fetishes' or interests. No one forces you to read those posts. A lot of people enjoy sexual, or other fetish interests which dovetail beautifully with rainwear such as rubber, bondage, cross-dressing etc. Coupling them with rainwear makes them very relevant and interesting.
I think Paul does a great job running this website/forum. Please don't spoil it for him with criticism like this.

i agree with mason. it would be such a shame if this site was closed down, paul does a fantastic job here and I love seeing adele in her raincoats. if you don't like the content then don't read them, simple. you have my support paul and long may this site continue.

@Mason
I'm not sure the "If you've got nothing nice to say, then don't say it." attitude really works, sometimes people post inappropriate items and this needs pointing out, obviously it's up to Paul / Moderators to decide what action to take, if any
Also, surely, healthy debate needs to be encouraged, otherwise we all become nodding dogs
I probably fall in to the category of 'the usual suspects' but at least I make contributions and try to keep the place alive
Paul provides an excellent place for us to share our views and images, it's not up to him to provide the content as well - that's up to the members
@pvcmac
This isn't meant to be an attack but I'm sure it will be seen as one
You say "you have my support paul and long may this site continue" but what actually does that mean, the site needs people to contribute if it's going to survive, it's simply not enough to log on and look at the content, in my opinion less than 2 posts per month over six years doesn't show much 'support'
Sorry to single you out, there are many more people who do exactly the same, but you were the last to post!

If I may join in here for a bit of a whinge. As some of you will know I have been here for a while and have posted many pictures and links to videos and sites etc. To be honest, I have lost interest as I can no longer post images direct. I don't want to sign up to another site just so I can upload pictures there and then re-upload them to here, it's to much pissing about and obviously time consuming. Some have mentioned other sites - Fetlife has very little to interest Rainwear lovers nowadays, the few images that are posted of women are the usual ones doing the rounds. Regnfrakkr is about 90% men only, if women (or so called women) are posted they are usually blurred or have their heads cut off.
The internet in general seems to be changing at the moment, obviously making it easier for 'big brother' to spy on us. All the vidoes I used to watch on MyVideo are no longer available. I can no longer view anything on Pinterest as it says I have to put in my Facebook password. I have no intention of joining Facebook or Twitter as I have no need for them, but I will confess to having a look at Facebook to see what my daughter had for a meal last night! There are fewer search engines now as I presume Google has swallowed them up, which is a shame as I'm sure there are many images Google can't find.
Finally, I would like to thank Paul and Mason and the other back room boys, whatever happens to this site I very much appreciate all your efforts over the years to keep it going.

This is a nice friendly forum - most of the time

and Paul, Mason and the other admins do a great job running it and keeping it on track.
It is nice to see new images and maybe this forum isn't the easiest place to upload images, but it is a good place for discussion.
We do try to post as many new images as possible, as so many out there are doing the rounds for the millionth time! but most of them get posted on our Facebook rubber and plastic community page
https://www.facebook.com/pvcdreams (you don't have to join Facebook to see it), but if anyone wants to share them here there is no problem, or post to our page. All we ask is, if any image has a copyright mark or logo on it, please do not remove it - or even worse, remove it and then add your own!

I thought it was raincoat-centric and yet after the last few months I`m beginning to feel a stranger here when I see what each new posting contains. Don`t get me wrong - we`re all freaks; I just thought this was the place for raincoats. Ho hum.
Ho hum indeed, maybe the site would be more active / on topic if some people actually made some contribution to it 81 posts in almost six years isn't exactly going to keep the site alive
You seem to have a bee in your bonnet about a story that you wrote that was removed by Paul, I can't remember the story you're referring too but I can only assume that if Paul removed the story then he had good reason, especially if others had made complaints
No bees in my bonnet Ray - just an observation illustrating how things have changed. And while I`m here; I clearly have no right, in your opinion, to say anything unless I post as much on the site as you have - (oooo, handbags at dawn!) Truly a childish attitude that surprises me coming from someone I thought had a more mature outlook.
Judging how this posting has ballooned, I clearly should post less, not more!

Ho Double Hum
Yes things have changed and maybe not for the better but the point I was trying to make is that if you feel so strongly about items you feel are 'off topic' then actually make a positive contribution about raincoats don't just sit back and moan!
"I clearly have no right, in your opinion, to say anything unless I post as much on the site as you have"
Absolutely 100% incorrect, but to whinge about the content of the site when you contribute so little is a bit rich, in my opinion
"Judging how this posting has ballooned, I clearly should post less, not more!"
I can't even begin to work out the logic behind this, your post has created some interest, maybe not all positive, so maybe you should post more
This forum lives or dies by it's content, it would be nice to see more people adding to it!

I enjoy this forum and hope it continues. Yes, I too get busy and sometimes don't make too many contributions but we need to support the process to keep it worthwhile. The easiest thing to do is 'give up". I've sold some stuff on the forum and realize others have the same interests as me. This forum is unique in its content, quality, management, and diversity, as well as confidentiality. No other forum I know of allows the flexibility we take for granted on this one. OK, there's my two cents worth along with a big THANK YOU.

I do not post here much at all , let alone bother logging in due to the act I read a lot of negative posts when someone their side of the rain wear fetish scene. Last time I ever posted I got jumped on due to my issues of using the correct grammar and spelling since then I have a browse to see if anything catches my interest and then bugger off again. Lately I have been taking to being on fetlife where I post my own pics on my profile but not here in fear of being jumped on for it, especially now that I have come to terms with my fetish and my thing about cross dressing in PVC and slowly coming out of the closet about it.Am I game enough to share it on here no because there will always be one or two that will pick about it on fetlife I can just tell them to go away.
