Ooh, what sort of school play was this? Yeah, I was really going for it, splashing and squelching and going from pasty white girl to dark brown mud monster!! Sounds great, I'll research it and will have to go there myself! I'm such a big kid in a grown woman's body!
I think I was meant to be a rain deer so presumably it was a nativity play - all I can remember was that I got wear my wellies!! If you want to try somewhere else then you should head to Detling in Kent - that was one of my favorite mud spots in Kent and was the site of my original school muddy trip!!
Ooh, I shall have to do some research! What were you up to on that school trip? Kinda wanna go back to the Isle of Wight and find that mud spot and just jump and splash around until I'm covered from the top strand of my hair to the soles of my Hunters!

I think the trip was badged as a opportunity to discover nature but I'm kinda convinced it was a chance for us to play in the mud - not that many of us were complaining! I was so excited when I went back a few years later - the mud was even better than I remembered... So you should defo try and go back if you get the chance!

Hahaha! I bet nobody complained about getting to wallow in glorious mud! I would be acting like a real pig, snorting and crawling and just rolling around until me and my wellies were slathered, laughing, shouting and singing! Yeah, I'd bet the mud would be even better returning! When I was 6 I went on holiday to Norfolk and there was some lovely tidal mud! I was in my element when I popped my boots on! It's like once I put them on there's a magic to it that makes me ten times more cheeky and mischievous!

No I think we all had a great time except one or two of the girls who wanted to keep their boots clean, which they failed to do in spectacular style!! When I went back I explored everywhere again and it all felt even slippier than first time around - and I had even more fun!!

Haha, there were probably some prissy gals in my year. I was not one of them, in fact I was more naughty than all the boys combined! Teachers liked me but knew I was a handful and would just let me go wild if there was some mud around! If I were you in that position I would explore standing up once (trying to keep my balance) and then crawl around like a pig, snorting and getting my hands and face filthy!

Most of the girls in my class got stuck in tbh, at that age they were similar to us boys in some ways!! Yeah crawling would defo give proper coverage - also one part was downhill so mud sliding would have been great fun!!

Haha; good to see that I wasn't the only filthy little girl! Yes, and it would have led to filthy arses! Either way I'd be such a little piglet all covered in mud!

I wished I had a pair of wellies when I was at school a lot of the kids in primary would only wear them in snow or very heavy rain but in secondary school a lot of the girls would wear them as everyday shoes or boots
